Tim Burton is already kinda creepy and kooky -- so it's perfectly fitting he's been picked to direct the next "Addams Family" movie.
According to Deadline.com, Burton's next project will be a 3D, stop motion version of the original New Yorker cartoon -- a la "Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Corpse Bride."
Expect Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter casting news any second now.
