Nicole Richie turned 30 yesterday, and she kicked off her festivities at lunch with friends in Beverly Hills. The birthday girl and mom of two carried a bag from Mrs. Fields and a big brown box that Nicole tweeted could only mean one thing: Alaia.
Later in the evening Nicole changed into a sexy, red vintage gown for a night out with her husband, Joel Madden. Joel helped throw Nicole a party at the Regent Beverly Wilshire, and the guest list included good friends like Samantha Ronson, Ashley Olsen, and Quincy Jones. Nicole joked about being "Mr. and Mrs. Over the Hill" now that she's out of her 20s. Nicole Richie's style has changed over the years.
