Stassi Schroeder is still crying over her ex, but that doesn't mean she's not ready to get back in the saddle.
In a sneak peek at Monday's episode of "Vanderpump Rules," Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Katie Maloney and Scheana Shay party with the cast of Bravo's "Summer House" in the Hamptons, where Stassi sheds some tears over her breakup from Patrick Meagher before setting her eyes on a new target.
When asked if she's dating anyone, Schroeder tells the group she's "going through a very recent breakup right now. I'll start crying if we all talk about it."
Though she keeps her cool with the cast, Stassi breaks down in a confessional when talking about the split.
"It's really hard, because my family really likes Patrick, and my friends like him, too," she says. "I'm used to people just being like, 'Your boyfriend's an a--hole.' So, what happens if I wake up a year from now and I'm like, 'That was a f**king huge mistake to breakup?'"
But it's time for her to move on, as Maloney so eloquently explains.
"She needs to sack up and hop in the sack," Katie says. "She doesn't need to go that far, but maybe, like, a hand on the boob or, like, an OTP HJ, which is an over-the-pant hand job."
It seems Stassi takes the advice, as she's then seen checking out some of the "Summer House" men. See if she makes her move on tonight's episode.
Stassi opened up about the reasons behind her breakup on her podcast last year.
"Because we've broken up and gotten back together so many times, it was like, 'Godammit, we can't do this pattern anymore, this routine of breaking up and getting back together every month,'" she said at the time. "I can't do it. Like, I can't."
"It's not about getting rid of Patrick; it's about getting rid of this routine," she added. "We fight all the time."
"He's a wonderful man," Schroeder added in conclusion. "Nobody would be settling by being with him. It's settling for the way that we are together. I can't settle for that."
