Before they were huge, Oscar nominated stars, some of this year's nominees had some very humble beginnings.
The people over at Flavorwire put together a pretty super supercut, showing all of the Best Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress noms in some of their earlier, lesser-known roles.
Check out the clip to see Joaquin Phoenix in a Superboy costume, plus find out which stars got their starts on shows like "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Veronica Mars" and "The Facts of Life" and movies like "Children of the Corn: The Gathering" and 007's "License to Kill."
