Bruno Mars will not be locked out of the Super Bowl!
On Sunday, the NFL announced that the Grammy-winning singer is set to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show this February.
To celebrate, Mars appeared on Fox's NFL Sunday for the announcement and to kick off the regular season.
This is definitely big news for the "Locked Out of Heaven" singer -- the Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show is the most-watched live performance of the year. More than 110 million people tuned in for Beyonce's halftime show last year!
Bruno has big shoes to fill -- Bey's performance last year received widespread critical acclaim, and stars like Madonna, Michael Jackson, The Who, Prince, Tom Petty and The Rolling Stones are just a few of the acts who've graced the stage before Mars.
The Super Bowl will air live next year at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday Feb. 2, 2014.
