“It was clearly a joke… that ain't NEVER happening.” -- @GayleKing on @Oprah's comment about possibly running for president in 2020. pic.twitter.com/zwPNfIu0bi

Another person has chimed in on the possibility of an Oprah Winfrey presidency, but this time the source is the most reliable yet.
Gayle King, who is a longtime BFF of the media mogul, made it clear on "CBS This Morning" on Thursday that Oprah would never actually run for president.
"I was in the audience that day and it was clearly a joke," King said. "But I also heard over the years on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' that you always have the right to change you mind."

Still, she emphasized how certain she was about this.
"I would bet my first, second born and any unborn children to come that ain't never happening," said King. "I'll say 'never' on this one."

@GayleKing
Chatter about an Oprah vs. Trump race in 2020 began after she briefly spoke with Bloomberg's David Rubenstein on the subject.
“I actually never thought– never considered the question, even a possibility,” Winfrey said. “I just thought,' Oh."

Rubenstein asked, “Because, it's clear you don't need government experience to be elected president of the United States?”
“That's what I thought. I thought, 'Oh gee, I don't have the experience, I don't know enough.' Now I'm thinking– 'Oh,'" she said.
