The world got to see the moment Jax Taylor proposed to Brittany Cartwright on Monday's season premiere of "Vanderpump Rules."
And while the proposal was absurdly sweet, Andy Cohen would not be Andy Cohen if he didn't put the two through the wringer on "Watch What Happens Live" immediately following.

View StoryBrittany's mom, Sherri, was sitting in the audience. She revealed to Andy that she knew Jax from having watched "Vanderpump Rules" long before her daughter told her she was dating him.
"When I saw a picture that Brittany had taken with her friend, I said, 'Oh, my gosh -- that's Jax Taylor!'" she explained. "And she said, 'Who's that?' I said, 'Oh, he's on this show.' So I was telling her about it."
"I was worried a little bit about [them dating], but I just [trusted] that Brittany would figure it out and see how it would work," she continued. "I have always been team Jax and always loved Jax."
Andy asked Sherri if she believed Jax was simply misunderstood.
"The old Jax was the old Jax," she replied. "I think Brittany, when she got around him, [changed him]. And I hope that I have done a little bit, too, and to get him to church. He's doing really good. I have seen a big change in him, and I just trusted Brittany. I knew if anyone could turn him around, it was Brittany. I love Jax. He's awesome."
Andy echoed Sherri's sentiments, saying he truly felt Jax had gone through a "formative change" during last season's reunion, right after he lost his dad. Touched by his comments, the two asked Andy if he'd be coming to their wedding.
"Bravo actually may not want me there," he revealed. "I was invited to Bethenny's wedding and Kim Zolciak's, but when we're shooting it, they think it's weird that I'm there, so I've never been to a Bravo wedding."
"So you're saying we're shooting it?" Jax asked with hungry eyes. Atta boy, Jax. Give the people what they want.
"I freaking hope so!" Andy quipped.

Brittany giggled and said, "My mama's here!" Andy then gave Jax a more tailored version of the question: "Are you going to have kids? Are you being cautious?"
"We're gonna have kids right away," Jax said without hesitation. "Absolutely."
Jax and Brittany will wed next summer.
"Vanderpump Rules" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
