Suzanne Somers and Husband Disagree on How to Deal With Kids Walking In On Them Having Sex (Exclusive)

Three's a crowd — especially when the third person is your kid catching you have sex.

While Suzanne Somers and her husband Alan Hamel know just what to do in that awkward situation, their strategies on handling it differ considerably.

The couple, who have been married for 42 years, was asked how they'd react if their kids ever caught them in flagrante, after Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos revealed they were caught in the same predicament over Father's Day weekend.

"You pull the sheet up," the 72-year-old "Three's Company" star replied matter-of-factly, but then broke into a fit of giggles when her hubby disagreed.

"You just keep going, man," the 82-year-old said. "You just keep going. Just pretend nothing's happening."

He added with a resigned laugh: "And maybe nothing IS happening."

While Suzanne and Alan never had any children together, they do share three stepchildren: She has a son Bruce — whom she gave birth to at 19 — from an earlier marriage, while he as a son and daughter, Stephen and Leslie, with his first wife. They also share three granddaughters.

On Monday, Ripa and Consuelos admitted on "Live With Kelly And Ryan" that they had ruined their daughter Lola's birthday after she walked in on her dad "resuscitating" her mom.

"She shuts the door and you hear, 'You just ruined my birthday! And my life! And I used to see in color and now everything is gray,'" Ripa recalled.
