'Jersey Shore' Recap: Jen Harley Sends Concerning Messages About Ronnie -- 'He Just Went Completely Whack!'

Thursday's episode of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" documented a whole lotta buildup for what's sure to be an explosive encounter between Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and baby mama Jen Harley next week.

Still in Las Vegas to celebrate the start of Vinny Guadagnino's month-long Chippendales residency, Ronnie, Vinny, Pauly D, Deena Cortese and Angelina Pivarnick went to brunch. Ron, however, was distracted.

The moment Ronnie left the table, the group noticed he left his phone behind -- a first in "Ronpage" history. Vinny was incredibly tempted to pick it up and sort through whatever had Ron preoccupied, but he refrained. That's when Angelina's phone dinged twice.

"Oh, shit. Jen messaged me," she said, later telling the camera, "All of a sudden, my phone is blowing up. And it's Jen. And those text messages are f--king insane."

Reading from her phone, she continued during her confessional, "'Ron went to Cabo, went MIA, texting me crazy shit all hours of the night, stayed longer, blocked me from everything. He just went completely whack.'" She added, "Like, what is really going on right now? I don't know if he's sober or not. I don't know who the f--k is lying at this point, and I'm very scared."

At the table, Pauly asked Angelina if everything was okay. She shrugged, said no and let out an "Oh. My. God," before Ronnie reappeared. "Shhh, shhh, here he comes," Vinny warned.

"To me, it's weird that Ron's baby mama, Jen, is reaching out to our family, like, reaching out to our friends instead of reaching out just to him," Pauly vented. "And he can't be honest with us, so she's going around our back and talking to the girls. Sometimes I just wish Ronnie would be honest with us about what's going on."

Ron sat down, and Angelina's phone went off a third time. Again, Pauly asked if everything was alright. Angelina whispered back, "No. She said no."

The group then made their way to a pool party, where they met up with Jenni "JWoww" Farley. Again, Ron was buried in his phone.

In the midst of the partying, Vinny got a call from an inmate at Otisville Federal Correctional Institution. It was Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino! "Yo! What's up, fellas?" a chipper Sitch said. "Oh, I miss you guys. We turnin' up out here, man." He then asked about Vin's stage name.

"I think it's Chooch," Pauly said, before Deena uncharacteristically shouted, "I think it's p---y!"

Mike told the gang he was going to meet with his case manager the following week to see about a possible early release. "They told me sometime in June," he said, but as we know, Mike served his full sentence and was released last week.

"As soon as I get out, it's clapback season!" he insisted, shutting down the roommates' desire to go on a "fast-food tour" to celebrate his freedom. "I don't know about eating everything," he said. "I'm in really good shape right now."

After exchanging I love yous and I miss yous, the group hung up on Mike and got back to partying. Well, except for Ronnie. He sat back down and continued to be weird and silent as he feverishly texted away.

Meanwhile, Jenni was talking Vinny's ear off about her new love interest, "24," who we now know by the name Zack Clayton Carpinello. When Vin asked if Zack would be jealous if Vinny were to bring her her up on stage, Jenni said no, adding that Vinny is the size of Zack's penis. Good to know!

Eventually, Vinny called her out on her over-the-top yapping, so she turned her sights to Ron and asked what he was doing. "Work," he replied. "Are you angry texting?" Jenni asked, as Pauly kept asking, "Who you texting?" Ron just kept saying, "Work."

"I don't know what's going on with Ron," Jenni later told the camera. "Group chat was informing me that Ron was literally on his phone all day yesterday. Like, it's uncomfortable! If you're gonna be with the roommates, engage. Like, that annoys me!"

To demonstrate how bad things were, MTV also showed Ron texting away in a confessional. "You ready, Ron?" an off-camera producer was heard asking. "We good? We rolling?" Without even looking up, Ronnie mumbled, "What's the Wi-Fi here?" He was completely aloof, distracted and disinterested.

Back at the bungalow, the roommates continued to shout Ron's name and taunt him loudly. Jenni and Deena giggled away, as Pauly belly-laughed. Still, Ron wouldn't budge.

"All people do is talk about me in this house," he said sadly to the camera. "I take a shit, they talk about it. I jerk off, they talk about it. That's all they do is talk about it."

Eventually, Ronnie got up and walked away.

"So are they fighting?" Jenni asked the group. That's when Pauly blurted out, "Well, Angelina has a DM from Jen I'm tryna see." Jenni's eyeballs just about came out of their sockets. "What do you have from Jen?!" she shouted, ordering Angelina to hand over her phone. Angelina didn't want to, but Jenni was relentless. She's also very, very terrifying.

"Jen messaged me on Instagram, telling me that Ronnie has been missing for a week, she doesn't know where he is, she hasn't spoken to him for a week," Angelina explained in a confessional. "So Jenni grabbed my phone. I'm always Team Ron, I really am. But at this point, I don't even know what to do. I thought that Jenni and Ron are closer than that. I didn't know that she would do this."

Pauly held Angelina back as Jenni scrolled through the messages. "Yeah, they're fighting," she concluded the very second Ronnie walked back into their bungalow.

"What'd I miss?" he asked innocently.

"Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on MTV.
