"Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough tore into the GOP as well as President Trump's wiretapping claims on Tuesday after FBI Director James Comey's testimony confirmed the allegations were baseless.
"Obviously, No. 1) Donald Trump was lying about Barack Obama," Scarborough said on the show. "We knew it but now we got confirmation from the FBI and also from the Justice Department."
"No. 2) The FBI is investigating Donald Trump and his team," he added.

Taking aim at the GOP, Scarborough slammed the House who seemingly turned a blind eye to the investigation and flipped the script instead focusing on "internal leaks."

View Story"Republicans proving yesterday, at least in the House -- it's not that way in the Senate -- that they are completely incapable of actually investigating this down the middle," Scarborough said. "It was one of the most shameful performances, at a time when America is at a turning point."
