Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had a very simple reason for Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest about why he's been caught several times without his shirt.
"If I am out on a hot day, minding my own business with my family, I have been known to wear a bathing suit from time to time," the 45 year old said Monday on "Live with Kelly & Ryan."
"It is awfully hot right now, don't you think?" Ripa joked.
As far as his "sexiest politician alive" status, the father of three said his wife is his harshest critic.
"My wife's the one who doesn't believe it," he said. "She's like, 'Really?' She knows what I look like when I get up in the morning."

As the son of Joseph Philippe Pierre Yves Elliott Trudeau, the 15th Prime Minister of Canada, Justin said he grew up knowing he was "lucky" that he never felt any pressure from his father to get into politics.
When asked if he secretly wants his children to follow in his footsteps of becoming prime minister, Trudeau said, "definitely not."
"Although I will say," he said, "I have one daughter, and there is something very special about imagining a woman prime minister. I think it's long overdue. I just don't think we have to wait that long. I think it should be sooner than that."
