An ambulance was seen arriving to her home after someone called emergency services reporting an overdose.
Heather Locklear was hospitalized on Monday afternoon following her release earlier that morning from police custody.
An ambulance was seen arriving to her home after someone called emergency services reporting an overdose, according to TMZ.
Sources told TMZ Locklear is stable now and is receiving treatment.
The former TV star's hospitalization comes after she was released on $20,000 bail earlier that same morning.
She was taken into custody just after midnight on Monday at her Thousand Oaks home in Ventura County.
Locklear was arrested for misdemeanor battery against a police officer and an emergency personnel, TMZ reported.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ she was intoxicated when a member of her family called authorities.
Locklear is said to have punched the responding officer, who was attempting to take her away from family members.
The second count of battery involved an EMT, who she allegedly kicked while she was being put into a gurney.
The star was first taken to a hospital and was later booked at the local jail.
Locklear was held just a week ago on a psychiatric hold after allegedly attacking both of her parents.
