People were racing to their nearest search engines this weekend trying to figure out what in the world "complicit" means.
Searches for the word's definition soared after Scarlett Johansson starred as Ivanka Trump in a mock perfume commercial for "Complicit" on "Saturday Night Live."
According to Merriam Webster, lookups for "complicit," which means "helping to commit a crime or do wrong in some way," spiked after the skit aired on Saturday night. The word is currently the top trending on the dictionary's website.
The skit features ScarJo as Ivanka in a ballroom themed commercial for the fragrance. The ad describes Ivanka, and the new scent saying, "A woman like her deserves a fragrance all her own, a scent made just for her. Because she's beautiful... she's powerful... she's... Complicit."
