“American Horror Story” Season 7 will be titled "Cult," and probably creepy AF, based on the first teaser.
Creator Ryan Murphy gave fans of the FX anthology horror drama the update on Twitter Thursday night after a series of tweets, which kept his followers on the edge of their seat for an hour. Murphy spent that anticipated time eliminating potential rumored options such as “Colony,” “Hive” and “Ann Coulter.”

View StoryMurphy previously shared that this season will focus around the 2016 presidential election.
“Well, I don't have a title. But the season that we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through,” he told Andy Cohen in February. “So I think that will be interesting for a lot of people.”
He also shared that although the season will have numerous allegories, we won't actually see a Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton character on the show.
