Happy #NewMusicFriday, music lovers! TooFab's got this week's 12 picks for the best new music to kick-start your weekend.
Pop powerhouses Demi Lovato and Kelly Clarkson came in hot this week with new releases: Demi dropped "You Don't Do It For Me Anymore," while Kelly released two new singles off her eighth studio album.
The lyrics and beat to "Love So Soft" are bluesy, poppy and uniquely Kelly, while "Move You" is another beautiful ballad to add to the singer's repertoire.
"This is a grown-ass woman's record," she said this week about her upcoming album, "Meaning of Life." "This isn't a record I could have made at the age of 20. This is a record you make when you've lived."
Zayn Malik's music video for "Dusk Till Dawn," his new single featuring Sia, is a mini heist movie starring actress Jemima Kirke of "Girls" fame. Hailee Steinfeld teamed up with Alesso, Florida Georgia Line and Watt to bring "Let Me Go" to life this week. And Sam Smith came in with "Too Good at Goodbyes," which the singer said in a statement is "about getting good at getting dumped."
"Every song is different, every song is personal, how any song comes together is a special thing," he said. "In this case, ['No Tomorrow'] came together really smoothly. Ricky Breaker had the beat, I caught the vibe of Ricky, Belly caught the vibe of me and O.T. caught the vibe of Belly. It was magic to see. Everyone was adding to what everyone was creating."
