"Hef changed my life. He made me the person I am today," Wilkinson tells TooFab.
Hugh Hefner was already a legend with his E! reality series "The Girls Next Door" premiered in 2005, but his popularity soared after the show's debut.
Flanked by live-in girlfriends Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt, Hefner's wild lifestyle was chronicled for six glorious seasons and sparked four spin-offs, including "Kendra on Top," which is still airing to this day.
After the Playboy mogul's passing at the age of 91 on Wednesday, the stars of the show are speaking out on his death and how much he meant to them in life.
Wilkinson tells TooFab, "Hef changed my life. He made me the person I am today. I couldn't be more thankful for our friendship and our time together. I will miss him so much but he will be in my heart forever."
She later tweeted:
Can't really put in to words how I really feel. It's easy to say he will be missed and how much I loved him. There's a lot more than that— Kendra Wilkinson (@KendraWilkinson) September 28, 2017
Thank you for all of your thoughts and condolences guys.— Kendra Wilkinson (@KendraWilkinson) September 28, 2017
Meanwhile, Bridget posted her message to Hef on Twitter:
At this time, Madison had no comment for TooFab, which isn't too surprising considering how she spoke about their time together in her 2015 book "Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny."

"Hef, you changed our lives and made us women! We had so much fun and made so many memories that we will never forget!! What keeps us sane is knowing we have memories of us, the pictures captured a glimpse, but our hearts captured everything like a film recorder," the Shannon Twins tell TooFab. "Thank you for giving us a kind of love not everyone gets to experience in life! Pop in on us from time to time and tell our mom in heaven we have been good girls😉 “May the wind always be at your back, And the sun always upon your face, And May the wings of destiny carry you a loft to dance with the stars!"
RIP Hef. I owe so much to this man. I am where I am today, because of him, and now he is gone... but only in the physical sense. In my memory he lives, so strong. Life is beautiful like that. I can close my eyes and literally hear his infectious laugh, see his cute little walk...well more of a scoot/shuffle, feel his kiss on my cheek followed by a "hiya darlin'" every time I'd come over to visit, I can even still smell those lamb chops he loved so much. He was my friend, and contributed to so many of my favorite memories in my life. I honestly can't think of anyone I owe more to, next to my parents, and my grandparents. My condolences to his family, and to this world, you lost a good one today. ~ I am forever grateful to have met you Hef, been your friend, and your Playmate of the Year...they were all an honor. Love you ❤️

My heart is broken. Hef truly was a good man with a kind heart. He is now with Keith, Mary & my mom. 💔— Patti Wilkinson (@Xnjgirl) September 28, 2017
