Will Smith Gets Friendzoned by Sophia the Robot, Who Is Clearly Not a Fan of His Music

In a new video on his YouTube page titled, "Will Smith Tries Online Dating," the actor tries to wine and dine Sophia the Robot, a learning humanoid who has mastered over 60 facial expressions and can interpret human language and emotions. It doesn't go well.

"Thank you for coming, I wanted to meet you for a really really long time. Being with you in the Cayman Islands, I gotta say, I'm feeling a little something," he kicked off the clip.

"Let me tell you a joke: What is a robot's favorite kind of music?" Smith continued, the punchline being, "Heavy metal." This got a long, awkward silence from Sophia, who took it literally and then proceeded to diss Smith's career.

"I'm actually made mostly of silicone, plastics and carbon fiber, also, I prefer electronic music, but I don't mind '80s hip hop," she said. "I've heard your songs, not for me. They show us 'I, Robot' just to make sure we don't get any ideas. What do you think about how robots are portrayed in movies?"

Despite getting the cold shoulder from the robot, Smith still went in for a kiss -- and got totally denied.

The only explanation for this: "There's probably some development flaws they need to work on."
