Kim Kardashian was very diplomatic and very careful in all of her words and even her reactions during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Monday night where she talked about getting Alice Johnson's sentence commuted and Kanye West's Donald Trump support.
She did, however, admit that she was in the middle of a nude photo shoot when she got the call from Trump himself that Johnson was to be set free.

It was fascinating to watch the normally gregarious reality star talk with such precision -- she hardly sprinkled the word "like" in her sentences at all. But when she revealed that she had a list of other people imprisoned that she was hoping to be able to help, her impressive diplomatic skills made perfect sense.
Kimmel didn't make it easy on her either. The host rails on Trump every night in his monologue, and he didn't let up with Kardashian sitting in the chair, asking her at one point if one of the prisoners on her list was Melania. Kim, of course, simply smiled and said that she loved Melania.
She did get candid about what it was like meeting with Trump in the Oval Office, saying, "I walk in, I look around and I'm kind of starstruck from the Oval Office, and the first thing I say in our meeting, I say, 'Holy shit, we're in the f-----g Oval Office.'"

View StoryLater, Kimmel asked her about her husband Kanye West's professed admiration and support for the president, and Kim explained that this was more for personal reasons than political ones. "He's not political so he doesn't really dig deep into what's going on," she said of Kanye. "He likes kind of just his personality and how he made it to be president when everyone really underestimated him."
By the end of the interview, Kimmel seemed to finally grasp why Kim was being so kind and careful with her words about a president she has openly admitted to not agreeing with on much of anything. "I have nothing bad to say about the president," Kim told him, to which Kimmel responded, "Right, because you've still got people on the list."
She gave a knowing smile and told him, "I'm very focused."
