Here's What the MTV VMA's Looked Like 15 Years Ago

Ariana Grande drops "Sweetener," Janet Jackson joins Daddy Yankee, Camila Cabello teams up with Swae Lee, and Sam Smith joins Calvin Harris.

Ariana Grande has finally blessed us all with her fourth studio album -- "Sweetener" -- and it is just as the title implies.

Featuring Nicki Minaj, Pharrell Williams and Missy Elliott, Grande's 15-track record includes chart toppers "No Tears Left to Cry" and "God Is a Woman."

This week's #NewMusicFriday also features some pretty sweet collaborations: Janet Jackson recruited Daddy Yankee to join her on "Made For Now" -- her first new music release since dropping her 11th studio album, "Unbreakable," in 2015. Camila Cabello and Swae Lee dropped "Real Friends," Calvin Harris and Sam Smith teamed up on "Promises," Lana Del Rey made a cameo on Cat Power's "Woman," Marshmello and Bastille released "Happier," and two of the A$APS -- Ant and Ferg -- dropped "Mario Cart."

On the album front, Young Thug released "Slime Language" on his 27th birthday, and country star Cole Swindell dropped "All of It."
