"I am going to share this completely with my husband, John Krasinski because the entire experience of doing this with you has completely pierced my heart," Blunt said in her acceptance speech.
Emily Blunt says people warned her against working with her husband on "A Quiet Place."
On Sunday night, Blunt won the best supporting actress SAG Award for her role in the horror flick, which both co-starred and was directed by her spouse John Krasinski. At the press room backstage, Blunt revealed to reporters that many people told her she and the "Jack Ryan" star would get divorced by the end of filming.
"My favorite thing about shooting 'A Quiet Place' for sure was working with John," Blunt said, according to People. "We had never done it before and it is kind of the great unknown."
"You go into this process not knowing what it's going to be like," she continued. "A lot of people were like 'You're going to be divorced by the end of it,' but we were so much closer. I think the discovery of how we collaborated and could create something together was just so special."
During the awards show, where Blunt was also nominated for her leading role in "Mary Poppins Returns," the adorable couple shared one of the most buzzworthy moments of the night when Blunt went onstage to accept her first ever SAG award for "A Quiet Place."

When her name was announced, Blunt looked shocked and Krasinski put his hands to cover his mouth. They embraced and Blunt took the stage to heap praise on her husband and director. This swoon-worthy moment immediately went viral on Twitter.
"Oh my goodness me. Guys -- that truly has completely blown my slicked hair back," Blunt said during her speech. "Thank you so, so, so much. I am so moved and completely lost for words and unprepared."
