"This is my first Instagram post? Oh, my God -- it's downhill after this!" Cox says.
Courteney Cox just joined Instagram in the most epic way possible.
During a recent appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the "Friends" alum told the comedian she felt it was time she join the social media platform -- not knowing what Ellen had up her sleeve.

As Ellen guided Courteney to the other side of the stage, a recreated set of Central Perk -- the fictitious coffeehouse made famous on the long-running sitcom -- appeared. Courteney was thrilled, especially because Ellen managed to get the actual couch! The two cozied up next to each other and pretend-drank from their giant coffee mugs as someone from Ellen's team took their photo.
"I wish Lisa Kudrow was here because that would be fun," Ellen said. Moments later, "Phoebe" appeared and made her way to the set while the "Friends" theme song blared and the audience erupted in cheers. (Some people cried, and we don't blame them.)
"This is a shock!" Courteney said, hugging her former co-star. "This is my first Instagram post? Oh, my God -- it's downhill after this!"
Courteney thanked Lisa for the surprise, to which she replied, "I wanted to be there for you."
Get it?!
