Lily Allen Says 'Game of Thrones' Fans Should Be More Concerned For Real-Life Women (Exclusive)

"Game of Thrones" fans need to get their priorities in order, according to Lily Allen.

The singer, whose brother Alfie played Theon Greyjoy in the recently concluded HBO series, told TooFab that people should not be worrying about the trials faced by made-up female characters in a fantasy TV show.

"Maybe people should be more concerned by women getting screwed out of shit in the real world, than in 'Game of Thrones'," she said.

Addressing the recent push for TV and film productions to abandon Georgia and similar states for their anti-abortion laws, Lily said musicians probably wouldn't follow suit.

"I can't speak for the music industry, but I doubt they'll do anything," she said, adding when asked if she would ever perform there: "I don't think I've been invited to those states anyway."

Lily then momentarily got a little bit confused when declaring her standpoint on the infamously misnomered debate: "We're pro-life... no! anti-... f--k! I don't know what the term is." Of course, she meant she was pro-female reproductive rights.

GOT faced some backlash for its conclusion, having unceremoniously killed off its two main female contenders for the Iron Throne in the final two episodes. Daenerys Targaryen was stabbed after her quick 180 flip into madness and burning a city to the ground; Cersei Lannister was crushed to death by some bricks that looked like they could have been avoided had she bothered to move a few paces to her right.

In 2014, Lily claimed she was actually considered for the role of Theon's sister Yara on "Game of Thrones", but turned it down because of a somewhat incestuous scene involving Alfie.

"I've been asked to do a 'Game of Thrones' cameo, they asked me if I'd be interested in playing Theon's sister, and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and s--t," she revealed in a Reddit AMA. "Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks."

Gemma Whelan was instead cast as Yara (renamed from Asha Greyjoy in the books to avoid confusion with the already established Wildling character, Osha). Indeed in her introductory scene she poses as a messenger to greet her brother on horseback when her returns from a year's long absence from his home island of Pyke. Theon relentlessly gropes and comes onto her as they ride on the same horse back to the castle, where he finally discovers to his disgust she is his sister.

However just weeks after Lilly made the claim, Alfie told Vulture it wasn't true: "I heard about [the cameo offer]. The only thing I'm going to say on that is that it's not true. and also that Gemma Whelan was always their first choice for the part. And she's fantastic. And that's the only thing I'm going to say about that."

In 2006, five years before he got cast in the biggest show of all time, Lily released a song about her stoner little brother who refused to get a job, called "Alfie".

As for that petition by unhappy fans to remake the final season of "Game of Thrones", Lily also had some choice words for the disgruntled viewers in general: "People are as entitled as hell. I thought it was good."
