"I paid very dearly for the last year for one very big mistake," the countess and cabaret star tells Andy Cohen.
"Real Housewives of New York" star Luann de Lesseps is looking forward to putting her 2017 Christmas Eve arrest behind her.
Appearing on Thursday's "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," the countess and cabaret star got candid about being taken into custody in May for violating her probation, prompting a judge in Palm Beach, Florida, to order additional conditions, including keeping a breathalyzer in her car, weekly phone sessions with a therapist, monthly in-person meetings with a psychiatrist and taking Antabuse, a prescription drug that treats alcoholism.

"The outcome was that I got stricter probation rules until the end of August, so I'm almost done, and then this will be behind me 100 percent," Lu replied, noting that she feels she's "paid very dearly for the last year for one very big mistake."
"I'll be glad to put it behind me, and I feel like I really learned a lot about myself in this year. It's been more than a year," she added. "I look at it right now as kind of a blessing because, believe it or not, it really made me step back and look at my drinking, etc. And I feel fortunate."
Here's everything else Lu and Andy talked about:
On Her Resolution with Dorinda
During part 1 of the "RHONY" Season 11 reunion, Luann and Dorinda Medley finally made amends after more than a year of feuding on and off camera.
"It was really very upsetting for both of us," Luann said of the tension. "I know that she loves me, and I love her. We have a very old friendship, and we love each other, and so we just had to get through it. It took a minute, but we're good now, and that's all that matters because it was really rough."
On Tinsley's Alleged 'Arrangement' with Scott
During a recent episode, Dorinda accused Tinsley Mortimer of having some sort of financial "arrangement" with her ex-boyfriend, Scott Kluth.
When a caller asked Lu if she felt there was any truth to that, she said, "Tinsley actually came to my video premiere party, and she was with somebody else, so I don't think that she's with Scott, nor do I think she's supported by him. I don't think so."
(That "somebody else" just might have been Billy Bush.)

Another caller asked Luann why she was so mad at Ramona Singer for planning a surprise party for Dorinda and Sonja Morgan on the night of her cabaret show.
"Ummm, because I wasn't invited?" Lu replied, which surprised Andy. "There's seven nights in a week, and Ramona, of course, picks the same night to have the party. She did that on purpose, and I thought it was very shady."
On Barbara K. Getting Caught Talking Smack
During the season finale, Luann's friend and show newcomer Barbara Kavovit was caught talking smack about Luann's singing abilities at her cabaret show.
"I was really stunned, and once again, she got caught on the mic," Lu said of seeing the incident air. "And believe me, she threw me a whole new clambake for that! She still tried to make up [for it]. Lobsters everywhere! She's made some comments on social media also that she didn't mean because Barbara's actually been to eight of my shows, and she loves my show, so I think, I don't know, she says it got taken out of context. I don't know how that could've been taken out of context."
Andy noted, "She said at the reunion that you're no Adele."
"Exactly, and I don't claim to be Adele, but I am an entertainer," Lu replied. "I love to sing for my friends, I love to host and I love to tell jokes. I read from my diary, and it's all part of being in my living room. That's what my cabaret show is -- it's all about entertaining and hosting my guests, and it's a lot of fun and sexy and entertaining."

"I would say my rose is having made up with Dorinda," Luann told Andy. "The thorn for me was that Miami trip. That was really hard for me. That was really hard for me. And you know, I'm looking forward to other trips!"
"Trips, but not trips in bushes," Andy joked, referring to that time in Mexico Luann drunkenly fell into the bushes. (Classic.)
"Oh! Well, ya never [know]," she said with a chuckle, quickly clarifying, "No, no."
"The Real Housewives of New York" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
