From thinking one fan flipped him off on the road to pressuring a boy to propose...these are unforgettable
Harry Styles has not only earned his top spot on the charts, but also a top spot in fan's hearts.
The "Music For A Sushi Restaurant" performer makes sure to extensively interact with his adoring followers during his live shows. It's a segment fans look forward to as much as his singing.
Here are 19 hilarious and adorable times Harry Styles interacted with fans.
- "Were You Driving Earlier Today?"
For many Styles stans it would be a dream to pull up next to him on the freeway. Harry thought this one fan did, but he confused her with someone who flipped him off. He had a joking tone when he accused her of being the road rage driver and quickly calmed the crowd before they could get too rowdy. Watch the moment below!
2. "It’s Real"
Harry Styles is not the most social media savvy celebrity, but that did not stop him from participating in this fan's BeReal. BeReal is a social media app that sends out alerts of when one is supposed to post. A user should take a picture no matter what they are doing as the front and back camera go off simultaneously. Styles had a little trouble understanding the app’s timer, as he grimaces at the photo and says "it’s real" before tossing the phone back to the fan.
3. "My Dad’s On A Date"
A Harry Styles concert is for many an unforgettable experience, and this fan's dad figured it would be a great way to impress his girlfriend. A sign in the pit read "my dad is on a date in section 200," which resulted in Harry postponing the next song, locating section 200 as he screamed for "Thomas," before launching into a multitude of questions for the said father. During the majority of this interaction, Thomas was projected onto the big screen for the whole arena to see. The couple will probably never forget that particular evening out.
4. "Come Off It, Henry"
Love on Tour 2022 kicked off in Manchester this past June, and the signs did not disappoint. A fan in the front row wrote on a piece of paper that her boyfriend broke up with her 1 hour before the show. The singer was shocked and became even more appalled when he learned the breakup occurred over text. After learning the ex's name was Henry, he had the whole audience scold him with the phrase "Come off it. Henry." Styles made additional comments such as claiming Henry was acting like a 6-year-old and he couldn’t believe "the audacity" of some people.
5. "Tina, She’s Gay"
This is one of the most iconic and most well-known fan interactions that paved the culture of Harry interacting with his fans. In 2018, a fan named Grace wrote a sign saying how the British singer is helping her come out to her parents. Harry then asks her mother’s name and where her mother was (her name was Tina and she was in a hotel room 4 miles away). Styles then quieted the arena and proudly screamed "Tina, she’s gay," joking that Tina would be able to hear him. Check out the adorable bonus video where Grace shows up to a concert at the following tour, and he recognizes her!
6. "Just Do It"
Imagine being pressured by Harry Styles to do something. That was exactly what this boyfriend experienced at a Chicago show because his girlfriend brought a sign that said "convince my boyfriend to propose to me." The sign caught Styles' attention, and he asked how long the couple had been together, if they loved each other, were they best friends, and more. Styles ended the interaction by repeatedly telling the fan's boyfriend to "just do it."
7. “I Know Everything.”
Gender reveals are a controversial topic, but no one can deny this one is very unique. This fan got Harry Styles to open the letter revealing her baby's sex in the middle of his show. The singer loved the experience and basked in the fact he held coveted information. He played ominous music, stalled, and even had fans do a countdown before revealing the future fan’s sex.
8. "What Is Happening?"
There seems to be a belief among Styles' stans that the more dramatic one's sign at a live show, the better chance Harry will notice you. However, one night at Madison Square Garden this resulted in a sea of signs sharing some type of bad news or trauma, and Harry was flabbergasted.
9. "Skipped Daycare To Be Here"
One can never be too young to become a Harry Styles fan, and this little girl proves that. Her mom made her a sign that said "skipped daycare to be here," and the "Late Night Talking" artist could not get enough of it. He cooed over the fan’s tiny thumb after giving her a thumbs up, even asking her name and wishing her a good time at the show.
10. Splashgate
He sings to fans, he interacts with fans, and sometimes he even sprays water at fans. Harry Styles is known for sometimes spraying water out of his bottle during hyped up moments of his concerts, but he never gets his fans too wet.
During one of his San Antonio shows, a fan decided to give him a taste of his own medicine and splash him from the crowd. He immediately stopped, turned, raised his eyebrows and mouthed "okay, okay" at the fan before walking away. He later returned with a smug look on his face while unscrewing his water bottle and throwing its contents in the direction of the fan.
This joking incident was taken too far at a Chicago show where a fan threw so much water at Styles his demeanor immediately changed and the crowd gasped all at once. The arena was silent for a couple seconds before the music resumed, but fans reported watching the "Watermelon Sugar" artist repeatedly trying to get the dripping water off his clothing for the remainder of the concert. Some fans even believe that Harry planned to perform "Medicine," an unreleased song that is a fan favorite, but he took it off the set list in anger.
11. "Shake It Off"
During a show in Chicago, Harry was greeting the crowd and talking about the "unseasonable" weather when out of nowhere, a water bottle flew from the pit and hit Styles right in the groin. He immediately bent over saying "that's unfortunate," and then straightened up shaking his legs. As he recovered, he said "it's all right, shake it off." He didn't even acknowledge the direction that the bottle came from and continued his conversation with the crowd, asking where they were from, and talking to a man who was from Denmark. "the happiest place on earth."

12. "Did You Just Give Me A Finger Gun?"
The world renowned artist loves to play tourist in different cities, and Chicago is no different. He told the crowd he went to The Bean that week where he saw a fan who said "See you Saturday," whilst giving him finger guns. Harry was taken aback by the gesture and asked "Did you just give me a finger gun?" After the story, Harry was determined to find the fan, not even falling for it when people close to him claimed to be her. He eventually spotted her in an upper level and said "I have something for you." He put his mic by his hand and gave her a solid finger gun.
13. "I Could Feel Something In The Air"
The now solo artist rarely talks about One Direction, but the topic came up when interacting with a couple who were celebrating their anniversary. The couple told him they feel in love at a One Direction concert, to which Styles replied, "Which exact concert? I need to know." Once getting the tour and location he said "I remember the night, and I could feel something in the air!"
14. "You Tricked Me, You Naughty Mustard!"
Fans are finding new ways to get Styles' attention, and the latest tactic: dressing in outrageous costumes. One fan showed up to an LA show in a full mustard bottle costume. The former One Direction member noticed her from stage, pausing in the middle of his speech to the crowd and said, "You're dressed like a bottle of mustard." The mustard bottle had obviously planned for this, proceeding to calmly open a sign that read, "Squeeze Me" in colorful letters. The crowd went wild as the artist shook his finger going, "You tricked me, you naughty mustard."
15. "What's In That Cup?"
Harry spotted a fan with a suspicious vessel and asked him, "What's in that cup?" He then did a little dance after hearing the fan was drinking tequila. He would then check in on the fan to see how many drinks he had. After three drinks, the British artist laughed and yelled, "We'll check back on you at the end of the show."
16. "Pose For My Therapist"
Harry is an advocate for mental health, and interacted with a fan holding a sign that said, "Pose for my therapist." After asking the fan for her name, the artist popped his hip out while sticking his opposite arm out. Hopefully, the fan's therapist loved the special photo just for them.
17. "So Far, We're Winning."
Fans will go to various extremes to get Styles to play his unreleased popular song, "Medicine." In Amsterdam, a fan held a sign that said "Sing 'Medicine' or we'll kidnap Mitch," referring to one of Harry's band members. Styles noticed the sign and sassily replied "I see a flaw in your plan. You're over there, he is still there. So far, we're winning." The crowd erupted in playful boos and chanting of "Medicine," and the singer eventually complied. So in the end, the audience got what they wanted.
18. "We Can See You Sneaking Out."
The Brit has commonly joked that it bruises his ego when he sees fans leaving his performances early. Therefore, if he spots you getting out of your seats before the concert ends, he will call you out. These Los Angeles fans were no exception, as he chanted at the fans located in the lower bowl, "We can see you sneaking out!" After his chants, he said "Back to the seats! I'm. Not. Done." The singer then proceeded to laugh and told the fans that it was okay to leave, in case they wanted to "beat the traffic." However, it was too late, as Styles said it himself, "In true Love on Tour spirit, we shamed them back to their seats."
19. "Yes?"
Everyone loves Harry Styles, including influencers. TikTok star Chris Olsen attended "Harryween" 2022 in Los Angeles, and even though he was seated in the lower bowl, got the stars attention. While Styles was interacting with another fan, a camera man spotted Chris holding a poster that said, "Daddy?" Styles had to run to a corner of the stage to see the jumbotron and understand why fans were yelling. Fans freaked out even more when Olsen held his sign even higher. Harry located him physically before pointing and saying, "Yes?" If Harry recognized the influencer, he did not indicate, referring to him as "sir." The two could not fully communicate because of their distance, but Harry said "Just know one thing, 'Yes?'"
