Jimmy Kimmel and Jennifer Aniston Have Beef Over Friendsgiving and Pooping on the Lawn

Jimmy Kimmel and Jennifer Aniston did the traditional airing of the grievances during her appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday, including his beef with her Friendsgiving holiday and her concerns about his daughter pooping on her lawn.

They also chatted about Aniston's upcoming Netflix movie "Dumplin'," and how the actress sort of accidentally maybe probably seems to have insulted one of her idols, Dolly Parton. But before they could even get to her film, Kimmel had to clear the air.

The late-night host didn't seem to know what Aniston had in her back pocket when he decided to pick a fight with her about her "Friendsgiving" tradition, set the day before Thanksgiving. As he explained, her holiday just ruins the real thing.

"I'm making the same thing everyone had the night before again," he explained. "So in it's essence, you've turned my meal into leftovers. So what I would suggest, if I may be so bold, because--"

"You're doing this on national television?" Aniston shot back. "You want me to sacrifice my Thanksgiving meal?"

"No, I don't," Kimmel retorted. "Because you're still having Thanksgiving and the Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving where God, Jesus and his friends intended for it to be."

"This sounds like a very grateful human being."

While Kimmel was having a lot of fun putting Aniston on the spot and teasing her for a tradition he and his wife have enjoyed for several years now, Aniston had a bombshell of her own to drop on him.

"Listen, I'll make a deal," she said. "If we do this, can we talk about your children not using my background for a bathroom?"

What Kimmel didn't know was that his wife had finally confessed to Aniston what happened last year when she and Kimmel brought their young daughter to Aniston's fakesgiving -- he even got the name wrong!

But he wasn't to be deterred, suggesting that Aniston just reconsider her menu for that day. Maybe a nice meatball, or go Mexican and call it Amigos day. And he said this message wasn't just for her, but for anyone who celebrates additional Thanksgiving meals around that time of year.

"If you start doing it, everyone will follow suit, just like your haircuts," he told her.

And yes, this conversation dominated their entire first segment together. They didn't get to the movie until after the commercial break, in which Aniston cast Kimmel's wife as another pageant mom.

But perhaps most exciting for Aniston was Dolly Parton's involvement, someone she's admired for years, and then graciously insulted without intending to. So here's a deeply philosophical question: Is it a compliment to name your dog after someone, or an insult? We love our dogs, so we're leaning toward it being a great honor!

Aniston thought it a sweet compliment and so shared the story with Parton, but then during a joint interview, Parton said she wasn't sure how she felt about it. "I was like, Oh god, I've insulted her," Aniston lamented.
