Kesha makes a comeback, Liam Payne teams up with Zedd, and Macklemore parties with his 100-year-old grandmother in this week's #NewMusicFriday highlights.
After a four-year hiatus from the music biz following the legal debacle with producer Dr. Luke, Kesha came back with a vengeance -- and a message.
The pop princess dropped "Praying," a song she said "is about coming to feel empathy for someone else even if they hurt you or scare you."
"It's a song about learning to be proud of the person you are even during low moments when you feel alone," she added. "It's also about hoping everyone, even someone who hurt you, can heal."

View StoryPayne, a former One Direction-er, is pretty much killing the game. "Get Low," his hip-hop dance collaboration with Zedd, dropped this week, and his song featuring Quavo, "Strip That Down," hasn't budged from Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
Even Blue Ivy Carter raps on her dad JAY-Z's "4:44" album.
But it's Macklemore's "Glorious" that takes the cake for best music video of the week. He surprised his Grandma Helen at her doorstep on her 100th birthday, then proceeded to get her a stripper and drove her around in a gold Cadillac Eldorado convertible, then edited the footage to the upbeat hip-hop track.
Other artists debuting new music include Coldplay, The All-American Rejects, Jennifer Lopez and Wolf Alice.
