Julia Louis-Dreyfus has the eye of the tiger and you're gonna hear her roaring through her battle with breast cancer.
"Chemo #2: finito. We are NOT f-cking around here," the Veep star captioned an Instagram photo of herself in dark sunglasses, a black hoodie and a fake mustache drawn above her upper lip Thursday.
Louis-Dreyfus then quoted lyrics from Katy Perry's "Roar," thanking the artist and her co-stars Tony Hale and Timothy Simons for being "hilarious and loving inspiration" during her fight.
Hollywood Rallies Behind Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Wake of Breast Cancer Diagnosis
View StoryThis is the first photo of the actress since she announced her diagnosis on social media last month, just 11 days after the 56-year-old actress picked up her sixth Emmy in a row for her work on HBO series "Veep," a new record for consecutive wins.
"1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I'm the one," she wrote. "The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let's fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality."
When reached for further comment, a spokesperson for Louis-Dreyfus told TooFab: "Julia is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and well wishes. We have no further details to provide at this time. We appreciate your understanding."
