Chelsea Clinton Kills Roseanne Barr's Latest Conspiracy Theory With Kindness

Barr kicked things off by tweeting, "Chelsea Soros Clinton." She then responded to a comment on her own tweet to tout the debunked Soros theory, which was created by former "Charles in Charge" star Scott Baio in 2016.

Even though it's a theory that's been hounding her for two years, Clinton responded to Barr the way she responds to all of her haters and trolls on social media: She kills them with kindness.

Another User responded to Barr's original tweet thread with a link to the Snopes.com listing that debunks Baio's random theory about Clinton's husband's lineage.

It's hard to tell how much of that fact checking sunk in for the sitcom star, though, who did respond to Clinton Tuesday morning in a tweet we assume is laced with sarcasm.

The sitcom star had already moved on to other conspiracy theories and topics that she needed to vent about.First, she dug deeper into the vast conspiracies surrounding Soros' supposed motives for the philanthropic work he does through the Open Society Foundation Clinton cited, as well as other organizations he donates to or sponsors.

She went on to call CNN political commentator Chris Cillizza "a f-cking mouthbreather," suggest Hillary Clinton wears a "colostomy jug cuz full of shite," and posted a seemingly racist description of former Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett.

Barr's tweets tapered off by this point, which was getting late into the night on Memorial Day. On Tuesday morning, though, she retweeted Clinton's response, which might seem reconciliatory, but she wasn't done yet. She followed it up with another retweet that dropped "Soros" right back into Clinton's name and claimed he was trying to "take down liberty."

And we've come full circle. It looks like she didn't go read that Snopes article after all. But she has realized her "Planet of the Apes" reference to Jarrett "was in bad taste," and has since apologized.
