Hollywood and Beyond Trashes Ivanka Trump for Thanking Dad for Ending Family Separation Policy He Started
Every Hollywood Star Railing on Trump's 'Zero-Tolerance' Immigration Policy

"Her children will know how evil she was," Judd Apatow tweets.

Ivanka Trump just added more fuel to the fiery nationwide backlash over the situation unfolding at the U.S.-Mexico border. .

After President Donald Trump signed an executive order to keep immigrant families detained at the border together, instead of placing children in a separate detention facility, Ivanka chimed in with her first public statement on the matter. She thanked her father for "taking critical action" to end the practice, which of course was the result of the Trump administration's "zero-tolerance" immigration policy.

"Thank you [President Trump] for taking critical action ending family separation at our border," she tweeted Wednesday. "Congress must now act + find a lasting solution that is consistent with our shared values;the same values that so many come here seeking as they endeavor to create a better life for their families."

Considering Hollywood and beyond has been busy lashing at Trump over the inhumane treatment of migrant children, Ivanka's statement didn't go over well.

Judd Apatow, Andy Cohen, "This Is Us" producer/director Ken Olin and Netflix star Michelle Wolf were among those trashing Ivanka for the tone-deaf tweet.

George Takei -- a "Star Trek" icon who spent years in Japanese internment camps in America during World War II -- simply asked, "Seriously, Ivanka?"
