Lala Kent got quite the birthday surprise: a proposal!
The "Vanderpump Rules" star, who turns 28 today, got engaged on Saturday night after her producer boyfriend Randall Emmett, 46, popped the question during a getaway to Cabo San Lucas.
Kent shared photos from the big moment on her Instagram page Sunday morning, saying, "Last night was the best night of my entire life." She continued, "I got engaged to the man of my dreams. I get to call this amazing human my fiancé! An engagement last night, my birthday today, and every sign my dad could possibly send me to let me know he's here. I'm the happiest girl in the world."

Ken't father, Kent Burningham, passed away in April. She previously told Jenny McCarthy that Emmett had asked Burningham for permission to marry his daughter before his death, telling the Sirius host it "just means a lot to me" that he was able to do that.
Spilling more details about the proposal to PEOPLE, Kent said Emmett had arranged it so they could watch "Friends," her favorite show, on a TV screen outside. While watching an episode, the video then cut to a montage of some of their own memories together. That's when he popped the question, she said 'Yes' and a private fireworks show celebrated the occasion.
"I keep looking down at my ring finger," she told the publication. "I'm just so happy to say we are officially engaged. We are so excited to start planning the rest of our lives together and I'm excited to put as much detail as Randall did in our engagement into our wedding!"
The two have been together since filming the fourth season of "Vanderpump Rules," where she kept him off camera and often referred to him as her "man." While many online labeled her a "homewrecker," she made it clear earlier this year that he had "a legal separation" from his then-wife, actress Ambyr Childers, at the time. Emmett and Childers made their divorce final in 2017.
