While MTV was threatened by David Eason, Jenelle Evans got into an online war with fellow 'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood.
Thanks to Jenelle Evans' husband, David Eason, the "Teen Mom 2" star was only allowed to appear on Monday's new episode via FaceTime, voiceover and clips from her own Instagram Live.
Her segment began with a slate from MTV explaining the situation. "A few weeks ago, David texted producers that he would show up during any upcoming Jenelle shoots and force production to shut down," it read. "Because of this, MTV crews are no longer able to travel to North Carolina to film with Jenelle."
Remember, MTV fired David from the show after making homophobic and transphobic comments. Since then, production has been unable to shoot anytime he showed up to a scheduled filming date.
'Teen Mom 2' Recap: Kail Lowry Reacts After Jenelle's Mom Says They Should 'Kill' Her
View StoryVia voiceover, Evans explained that ever since her mother Barbara's "let's get lit and kill [Kail Lowry]" comments from the week before, she's been getting backlash online. On top of that, "Teen Mom OG" star Amber Portwood had also been slamming Eason online -- alleging he abuses her.
A producer for the show contacted Jenelle over FaceTime, since cameras didn't go down to North Carolina, where she broke down the Amber situation.
"I came home and Amber's talking shit about David. I don't know why Amber's getting involved, she's on a different show," Jenelle explained. She added she didn't understand why Portwood had a problem with Eason, who she met before following a "Teen Mom" event in NYC.
"I haven't even talked to her personally, on a personal level, about anything pertaining to my life or my marriage," she went on. "I've reached out to her to say, 'Hey, stay strong,' after I've watched an OG episode, but I haven't been like, 'Something's happening with me and David,' never. I think it's ridiculous you can't reach out to me privately about it and it shows me the kind of person you are and I don't know if I can ever trust her again."
Jenelle Evans Hits Back at Kail Lowry's Claims She Had 'Teen Mom' Costar's Back: 'You're Fake'
View StoryFrom there, it was a battle of the Instagram Lives between the two, as Portwood called David a "loser" and said she expected more from Jenelle. "You're the one with all the money, with all the power," she said. "He's a bitch, are you kidding me? He's a joke."
On her own social media, Jenelle told Amber to "shut the f--k up about my family" and leave them alone, throwing Portwood's own time in jail for domestic abuse in her face. That led to a fiery response from Amber, who said, "Don't ever say I need attention from your crackhead ass. Bow down ... sit the f--k down."
That's where it ended between those two, but a preview for next week's episode showed that Evans will be back in front of the camera and Portwood will make a cameo.
'Teen Mom 2' Recap: This Is How Kail Reacted After Jenelle Set Peace Offering on Fire
View StoryJenelle's ex, Nathan Griffith, also popped up for a quick appearance to talk about all of Evans' drama with Portwood, calling it concerning. "The more she's acting defensive, the more it's making herself look bad," he said. He also questioned whether she's "stable" enough to care for her children, including their shared son Kaiser.
"Teen Mom 2" airs Mondays on MTV.
