Kylie Jenner Gets Candid When Khloe Kardashian Asks if She Misses Jordyn Woods in New 'KUWTK' Promo

Kylie Jenner isn't mincing her words in this sneak peek at the upcoming 17th season premiere of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" when Khloe asks her if she misses having Jordyn Woods in her life.

"I think that this whole Jordyn situation needed to happen for a reason," Kylie said. "For me, for her, for you, for everybody."

The two-part season finale of the reality juggernaut's 16th season dealt with the cheating scandal that exploded between Jordyn and Khloe's then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson. Khloe and Tristan have subsequently broken up, while Kylie has seemingly lost her long-time best friend in the aftermath of the alleged shocking betrayal.

In the clip, the two women most impacted by the scandal open up about how it's changed their lives, with Kylie proving surprisingly candid and positive about the sudden absence of her best friend, business associate and roommate.

"She was my security blanket," Kyle admitted. "She lived with me, we did everything together. I just felt like, oh, I have Jordyn, I don't need anything else."

In other words, in a way, she now feels like Jordyn was holding her back (not intentionally perhaps, but inadvertently). "I feel like there's a part of me that needed to grow without her," she went on. "Sometimes people are there for certain reasons at certain times in your life and then not there for others."

Khloe was impressed with her younger sister's demeanor and reasoning throughout the ordeal, and even her positive take on the fallout. "I really respect in you that you're really good at being calm even when you probably do want to scream at someone," she said.

"I think it's just because you're so confident and secure with who you are, which is so wonderful," Khloe continued, adding that it was a "really inspiring trait."

Kylie was touched by Khloe's words, but gave so much credit for the young woman she's turned into back to her family. And that's another positive result of such an unfortunate and gut-wrenching situation as the Tristan-Jordyn scandal.

These kinds of tragedies can often help strengthen bonds between all those people impacted, which is something we're seeing between Khloe and Kylie in particular, but the whole family as well ... as tight-knit as they already were.

As for what fans can look forward to in the new season, premiering this fall on E!? "I feel like this is the season to filter through the bullshit," Khloe said in the clip. "Only the strong and loyal will survive."

That "loyal" may be an indication as to whether we'll ever see Tristan or Jordyn again on the show. Neither appeared again after news of the scandal broke during the finale. Signs point to "no."
