Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Eva Marcille Welcomes Third Child, Son Maverick

Congratulations are in order for Eva Marcille!

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star welcomed a baby boy on Friday, according to Us Weekly. Son Maverick is the third child for the model and the second with husband Michael Sterling.

Marcille shares daughter Marley Rae, five, with ex-boyfriend Kevin McCall. She and Sterling welcomed son Michael in April 2018. They married the following October.

"[Sterling and I] met in Atlanta and fell in love in Atlanta. [He] is from Beaumont, Texas, and I'm from Los Angeles, so I think it only appropriate for us to actually get married where we met," she told the publication at the time.

Meanwhile, McCall filed court documents seeking joint physical and legal custody of Marley Rae on Wednesday, as reported by TMZ.

McCall is seeking a change to a previous custody order and wants to "foster a parental bond" with his daughter, according to court documents.

Marcille made a name for herself after winning the third cycle of "America's Next Top Model" in 2004. After working for a few years in fashion, the Los Angeles-born beauty turned to acting with guest stints on various sitcoms. She landed a permanent gig on "The Young and the Restless" in 2008.

In 2017, she joined "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" as a "friend" of NeNe Leakes, becoming a "housewife" the following season.

Marcille will return to the popular Bravo franchise as it debuts on November 3rd. She'll be joined by Leakes, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore (as well as "friends" Marlo Hampton and Tanya Sam).
