The "RHOA" OG seemed quite content with the current cast -- Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, Eva Marcille and newcomer Shamari DeVoe -- but she was still willing to talk about some of her former costars. Unfortunately for viewers who have been keeping up with NeNe's shady Instagram posts, Kenya Moore (who coincidentally gave birth to her first child Sunday night) did not come up.
When a "WWHL" caller asked NeNe how she felt about her "reconnection" with Porsha, NeNe replied, "I feel fine. I mean, I feel like we reconnected last year?"
"You did," Andy said. "You reconnected at the end of the season, but 'the door was closed,' if you recall."
"Yeah, but honey, it cracked and then it opened," NeNe replied as she flipped her hair. "Listen, Porsha and I are like sisters. We live around the corner from each other. I'm like her big sister. We argue, we gon argue again, okay? I'm gonna get her together, and she gon tell me what she wants me to know, and we gon still be friends, okay?"
Andy commended NeNe for being able to rekindle certain relationships, even after announcing that "the door is closed" to them. Author Phoebe Robinson, who was sitting beside NeNe, then asked her fellow guest if she and Kim Zolciak could ever be friends again.
"I really don't know," NeNe replied. "I really don't know. I would have to say that the ball is in Kim's court."
"Kim and I-- I feel like I'm very open to-- I'm not the kind of person that's-- I'm just not a hateful person, and I know how to forgive," NeNe continued. "I wanna move on, so I feel like the ball is in her court because I'm very open with being cool and going out for a drink, girl. Call me!"
Considering NeNe's history with Kim, that was pleasantly shocking to hear. A caller then asked NeNe about what kind of contact she had had with Kim following last year's intense reunion.
"When my husband and I announced that he had cancer, Kim reached out," NeNe explained. "We had a conversation, and she sent over some gifts for Gregg. And then she kept following up, too. She kept texting me."
Unfortunately for Sheree Whitfield, it doesn't seem that NeNe has the same desire to grab a drink with her. When a caller asked NeNe if she had spoken to the former "RHOA" star following her exit from the series, NeNe simply replied, "No," and smiled into the camera.
Then someone asked NeNe who she felt was the "queen bee" Housewife of New Jersey and Beverly Hills.
"Beverly Hills, it's Kyle [Richards], honey," she added as she flipped her hair. There was an audible "oooooh" from audience members who likely felt the response was a dig at Lisa Vanderpump, the only other OG of the franchise.
