Troye Sivan Calls Out 'Wildly Invasive' Interviewer Who Asked If He's a 'Top or Bottom'

Troye Sivan is not happy about a recent interview.

The South African-Australian singer, 24, called out a New Zealand journalist on Twitter Wednesday after they asked if he's a "top or bottom."

When a fan shared a photo of the interview, which was featured in LGBTQ New Zealand magazine, Express, and wrote, "who's this interviewer the bar is on the floor," Sivan retweeted the message and blasted the reporter, Matt Fistonich.

"I thought about asking the interviewer about his absolute fave sex position after that last question, but then i remembered how wildly invasive, strange and innapropriate [sic] that would be," Sivan tweeted. "Didn't stop him though!"

"Next time I'll just do a Twitter q&a," he added.

The query was the final question of the wide-ranging Q&A, during a "quickfire" portion of the interview. After being asked random questions, including if he likes President Donald Trump and if thinks Justin Bieber is "hot," the Fistonich asked Sivan: "top or bottom?"

In response, Sivan answered, "Ooo...definitely passing."

Fistonich also asked the "My My My!" singer if he and boyfriend Jacob Bixenmen considered their dog, Nash, to be their "Gayby." Sivan simply answered, "Definitely. We literally treat him like a human child and he's become very cuddly and needy. He's just a legend."

Although Sivan didn't seem upset in his answer, it looks like the personal question might have bothered him a little more than it appeared.

After a fan seemingly joked about the interview and asked the "Boy Erased" star for his social security number, Sivan answered, "You sure you don't wanna just ask if i have a gayby or if i like Will and Grace like the other guy???"
