"Floribama Shore" star Nilsa Prowant said Kortni's pregnancy scare didn't come as a surprise, considering she's been having unprotected sex with her creepy boyfriend Logan.
During Monday night's episode, Kortni learned that she might be pregnant with her boyfriend Logan's baby. Kortni and Logan were already having problems, due to Logan's excessive drinking, angry outbursts, and overall straight out of a "horror movie" behavior. Although Kortni managed to remain calm -- for the most part -- regarding her possible pregnancy, most of her fellow housemates were shocked, except for Nilsa.
"I wasn't surprised at all," Nilsa told TooFab in an interview. "Literally Kortni at this point, nothing that comes out of her mouth surprises me so I was like, 'Well this what we're going to deal with at this point.'"
"It was concerning to all of us because then we're like, 'Oh my God, now I'm going to have to be a mom,'" she continued. "Aimee's going to have to be a mom.' Everybody in this house is going to be a parent just because Kortni is going to become one and she barely can take care of herself...like Kortni you can't go barhopping with a child on your hip."
In the episode, the thing that worried Kortni the most was a possible miscarriage -- due to her stress levels -- something that has happened to her in the past. Nilsa said that they were "aware" of her past miscarriage and were trying to keep Kortni calm and stress-free during all of the Logan drama. However, Nilsa emphasized that "you can [get pregnant] if you don't protect yourself" and it can happen if you don't take on those "responsibilities" that are necessary. "You should be smart about it," she added.
The majority of the episode showed Kortni trying to deal with Logan and keep him away until she knew for sure if she was or wasn't pregnant. The most intense moment of the episode was when Kortni had escaped Logan at the club and went home. While with her fellow housemates -- Candace, Nilsa, and a friend from home -- Kortni took multiple pregnancy tests. At that moment, Logan popped out of nowhere, something he's been doing a lot lately.
"I literally thought I was in, I'm like, this is how horror movies are made," Nilsa said of the moment. "This kid pops up out of nowhere. Literally runs into our house. The guys didn't think anything of it because they didn't know what was going on. They don't really know the whole dynamics of everything. And so like when he just popped up out of nowhere, I'm like, 'I'm about to die. This is the beginning of a war zone. Where is security?'"
Kortni got Logan to leave the house and locked all the doors. She stressed in a confessional that she will "never" get back with him.
"You want to walk out of my life, honey that door is wide the f--k open," Kortni said. "And I will slam it shut behind you, deadbolt that bitch, nail it shut and you aren't getting back in...I will never get back with Logan, I don't want him to be a part of my life."
Kortni's status -- preggo or not preggo -- wasn't determined by the end of the episode. And, while Kortni told Logan she was done with him, the episode ended with Logan walking back up the house and knocking on the door again.
Nilsa described Logan as "crazy" and someone like "nothing [she's] ever seen before."
"If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck. It's a duck, so Logan's crazy," she said. "It was like nothing I've ever seen before and I've seen a lot of things in my lifetime [...] this guy is like from another planet. I wouldn't be surprised if you unzipped his body and he was like a crazy alien or something."
"Floribama Shore" airs Monday night at 10 p.m. EST on MTV.
